Hi
Sorry if this is the wrong place to contact you, but I am enrolled in the Interactive Gaming course at MDS that starts in early November and plan to use to it get into the Programming stream of the Game Development course that i see you have successfully completed. I was just wondering if i could get your personal opinions on what you thought of the Game Development course rather than a ‘advertisement’ from the course provider.
If you don’t wish to answer, sweet as.
It was the first time the course was run and there were definitely teething problems with the cirriculum and retaining tutors. That said we ended up getting some awesome tutors and created a game we’re really proud of. Our class got on really well which helped a lot for working on the final project.
Ultimately I think with that course you get out what you put in, if you’re going to go spend the time and money doing it, work your arse off so you’ve got something to show at the end.
Hey Mate, Just wondering if you can please send me an email. I’m keen to get a link from your site to mine and vise versa. I work for Instinct Entertainment – who create flash games (for mobile and web). Instinct are also your local WordPress geeks (we develop plugins professionally). Anyway nice site man!!!
just before i nodded off to sleep i got to thinking about a the wii. is that out in nz yet? anyway, got to thinking how cool a fencing game for the wii would be.
It seems to be a bit of a general purpose thread this one
Yeah fencing could be cool. There is a game called Red Steel which is coming out at launch for the Wii, that looks promising, a bit different to fencing of course but it’s still beating people with pointy metal things isn’t it
The Wii is coming out in NZ on the 7th of December, I have one on pre-order

If you’ve got more questions you can ask here, or try http://goliathgame.com/forums where you might get an answer from the rest of my class or http://nzgda.com/forums .
Thanks for that, will do.
